Welcome to the Blog about the Love between a child and his mother. And how it was all taken away because of the irresponcibility of our court system.

Help me bring him home

The Christmas tree

Taylor came to the house just yesterday with his Dad. Its the only time he is allowed to be here. The first thing he did was run into his room, and with a large jump landed in the middle of  his bed.. He laid there starring at his christmas tree in the corner of his room. .I asked him what was on his mind, and in true 12 year old fashion he said " The lights". "what do you mean the lights" I said. "Some of them have burned out already"he replied.  You see at Christmas time I always put a tree in his room. That's his own personal tree with a nativity scene under it. I promised him Christmas Eve that the tree would stand and  the lights would stay on until he came home.  I told him not to worry there were plenty left. He replied : "Maybe we should connect a new string of lights to the end" My heart sank. It was all I could do not to cry. He is losing faith  that he will be coming home, and sometimes I am scared to. I told him hang in there big guy. He just smiled and gave me a hug.... It is so unfair what has happened to us. Our lives have been torn apart by others who dont have all the facts.
Nobody should be allowed to ruin peoples lives without knowing the truth. Juvenile Court never got the papers from my court appointed attorney. And now I cant afford the attorney it will take to go back to court to get it reversed and bring him home. I miss him soooo much. And my fiancee too. We were a family until my mother decided to pass judgement on me without getting informational facts. It's scary how easy it is for someone to take your child away from you. And how hard and costly it is to prove they were wrong.. So if you have children, hang on to them tight and be aware of your surroundings because this could happen to you. I cant explain the pain of separation from my family when all it will take is an attorney to fix it. But $5000 is not easy to raise. How do you tell your child he is priceless, but you cant afford to get him back.
